NW IA | Good question. I was at a seed meeting last week and the district rep said that although it wasn’t much, plants with some green leaves would still benefit if we caught a rain.
Can’t help but wonder if there is an effect related to how the plant arrived at its current condition as defined by appearance. Whether by natural maturation or accelerated “maturity” brought on by stress.
My healthier corn has decent color yet.
Edit. 1/2 inch over night. First in a long time but here we are better off than most.
