Don't know if you were referring to my post or not but I will state first that I have no answers or opinions one way or the other. The op just reminded me of a few years ago when my fert./chem dealer was pushing fungicide on corn, beans and wheat. That same time is when I heard the segment on the radio with the college professor talking about the use of fungicides. The one thing that stood out at the time was he said don't be spraying it just to be spraying it in hopes of raising the yield. That it kills beneficial things as well. I assume he knew what he was talking about but maybe not. I do know some of my neighbors spray their wheat religiously with fungicide and sometimes it pays and sometimes it doesn't. Not a corn farmer so can't comment any further.
