SE IL
Southern rust once every 5 years will pay for fungicide for every year. Yes you guys in dryer climates and lower humidity likley would have a much tougher time getting it to pay consistently. Also it can be hybrid specific and we pay attention to that. One thing some around here have seemed to learn is trying to pick a field and a year is tough. Doing a high percentage of acres every year is more likely to pay. Just mo.
