| I hate high-pressure sales people too, but a part of me also feels kinda sorry for them, as it's a pretty a miserable way to make a living. Take the pressure they apply to you and multiply it by about 5 for what they are under from management. Watch the movie Glengarry Glen Ross and you'll get an idea. Not excusing, just pointing out the other side of the coin. Like Walmart: if it didn't work, they wouldn't be doing it...
I also place at least half the blame on the people who boast about how they actually enjoy the haggling. I'm sure you all know some people like that and I'll bet there are several on NAT.
