It's not going to be a significant difference when you're selling carcass weight instead of live. You will have an earlier, heavier live weight on Sunday, but it won't add to carcass weight by Monday. That provides chest inflation for you and the ability to pass those symptoms on to others. In reality, carcass shrink isn't going to amount to much at all. The information you get back will be worth more. They usually put individual back tags on and write a tag number down on scale tickets as they're weighed individually. I'm not all that far north and west from you. Our NFO loads to Tyson usually go to Joslin, IL.

And yet, the total dollars divided by total weight is higher than the live bid.
