Ben, you didn't answer my questions, but you posed other questions.  As far as I can tell, they have NOTHING to do with Tom Brady.  However, I will answer your questions:

"If someone made a random determination that squashed your chance at a VERY prosperous future, would you care?"

Would I care? Yes. However, Life happens.  Sometimes things happen in life that you have to accept and move on.

"If someone burned down your house, and all your neighbors shrugged and said “not my house, why should I care?”, what would you think of them?"
