68791 | I played college ball and had a kid that lived across the hall that lived across the hall freshman year that came from an inner-city, single mother environment in a large Texas town. He wore honor rolls shirts around the dorm and to practice but it was clear pretty early that he struggled majorly even reading. He played football and struggled through college for 5 years but eventually graduated and married a girl back where I'm from. Was not a star on the field but played but the big story is that he got out and got it done. Haven't seen him for a few years but how could you not be proud of a buddy having success and sports provided the outlet.
