Oregon | Hi have a problem with a chemical dealer.
I had about 1/3 of my crop lost to chemical damage. It was very clear.
I followed their recommendations. The chemicals were to strong and it didn't make seed or straw.
I had a meeting with dealer and they wanted me to tell them what chemical caused the damage. I said I'm not sure, there were probably 7 chemicals sprayed in 2 different applications.
The dealer ended up saying that it was the weather and he had this stuff sprayed on several other acres with no problem.
The dealers last sentence was its farming you take a lot of risk.
The meeting was with the salesman and branch manager.
I have pics of the damage, the branch manager came out to the field and I showed him.
I feel like in this corporate structure of this very large ag chemical company the lower guys , will deny everything and lie so they can get their next pay check.
The damage will cost around 140k
I dont do business with them anymore.
What should I do next?
I know if I were the dealer I would feel horrible and make it right with the fellow.
