SW Iowa
I have often wondered how the importer countries handle those giant 3mil bu boat loads of grain coming into port...They must have giant 30 million storage buildings at the port, with long conveyors to get those ships empty. As they may have 10 of those ships lined up to unload. And to ship to interior locations, it would take 3000 shiny Peterbilts with 45' tri axle hopper bottom trailers to move one ship load....and,, I have never seen shiny Petes with alum trailers in those Chinese storage locations. I doubt if they have the roads to carry the weight of a semi into the interior of the country.
They Must be using rail to get the grain out to the distributors..
