So I assume since you have taken the time to learn to speak their language and you also trade commodities that you would have more information than say a regular average farmer? Therefore would likely know more often than not when china is likely to cancel contractual obligations and tank the price of grains... and therefore would likely profit from it... I can see now why your so animate about defending the CCP and their contracts... like I said earlier the reason the market didn’t go up after 10 straight days of large sales is that the market doesn’t believe that China will stand behind what they say they will do... it’s pure manipulation... if I sign a contract to deliver 100,000 bushels to a elevator I have to deliver or buy the contract out.. I highly doubt my cost to buy the contract out is the same per bushel as China’s cost... but it should be and maybe they wouldnt cancel as often
Btw I don’t Usually get this serious on a open forum but since you pointed out that simpleton farmers don’t know how international grain settlements are handled... I figured I would point out that traders have a incentive to keep the status quo going because it benefits them while throwing the farmer under the bus... and who could blame them the government will bail the farmers out right... and hell there is no harm in that... and I assume that’s a true statement until there is harm... and their will be eventually... we are essentially subsidizing communists by bailing everyone out... because other countries are free to back out on contracts for pennies on the dollar and manipulate their currency to no end... totally fair and free trade ... trade will never be fair or free never has and never will be....
