North Central Kansas | I have used the stopwatch app on my phone a time or two for filling trucks also. A stopwatch along with a pad and pencil would work for recording totals for a load, grand totals for a field etc.
The advantage of an app would be keeping tallies along with conversion to bushels or tonnes for you metric guys.
Smart phone apps are handy in that they can be used while driving in the field where time is sometimes limited between cart fill ups especially in high yield corn.
