If you have the tractor to pull it I prefer the 24 in small fields as its that much fewer turns and don't have to get as tight to the fencerows when squaring corners. We pull a dry cart with ours and it's no more cumbersome in small fields than the 16 was. We run a 1770nt and very happy with it. flexes 8-8-8
