Just my opinion, but you could speed up your planting if you cut out one of the things you are doing, such as 2x2. You will need some serious power to pull 24 row with all the extras you are thinking of doing. I would get a 16 row 1770NT Deere. Don’t be afraid of vacuum meters as well. I used to feel the same way as you until I switched to a vacuum planter. Very simple and reliable. You could set up a 16 row CCS with either a 300 or 500 gallon tank on it and cover a whole lot of ground. Can plant 200 ac on a good day with one, even including a bunch of moving around.
