NW Illinois Stephenson county | Maybe new parents should be required to install a monitor in the baby seat hooked to the car's ignition switch ( could be connected to a seat sensor in the driver's seat). As soon as the car is turned off (or gets out of the driver's seat) a timer allows a minute or two to pass before a siren goes off that can be heard in a six mile area. Two paddle switches a chunk of wire, a siren or flashing lights for the hearing impaired, and a plug in to USB port or cigarette lighter would be a simple and cheap alarm. Please send me a dollar for every alarm you sell. I've never had kids, but I do not think I could live with myself if I forgot my child in the car and it was damaged or died.
