Central IL | Anything fishy will catch cats before the coon shows up. Coons are suckers for sweet. Cats not so much. Have caught hundreds of coons with an ear of corn dipped in grape jelly. An ear of sweet corn with honey or a split jelly donut prolly work just as well. Sometimes a big old coon that has busted out of a trap a few times just will refuse to go in one again. May have to find another means of getting rid of it. | |
