| We have outside cats, so there is outside food and water in the shed. It is up on a platform connected to the wall with a diagonal brace. Had a cat tower next to it so there was easy access to the food for the cats. Then I could tell the raccoons were around. The water dish was dirty and the food was disappearing very fast. So the trap went up with marshmallows, grape jelly and peanut butter have usually worked for us. Dave got 6 so far, but there is a big one that is showing up on the trail camera that we put in there. We moved the cat tower and he could use the support to the table to get up there. So we put some tin on the sides so he doesn't have access to that way to get up there. The video is showing us that he is still getting up there, but the video didn't start until he was on the table. So Dave said more tin might work. My question is, what do you use to lure a raccoon that just doesn't want to go in the trap. TIA | |
