| The real irony is that unless you're wearing a n95, mask wearing is more for other people than yourself. Cloth/surgeon masks do a better job of keeping the virus constrained to yourself (if you're infected) than keeping it from getting to you.
I'm not great at it, but I'll generally wear one when I go to the store or anywhere else with a lot of people. On the other hand I've been working in the field with coworkers and it's just not feasible for us to wear masks.
The way I see it, I do what I can. Nothing is 100% effective, but there's always ways to minimize risk. | |
