Can anyone explain thinking of some mask wearers to me. 

We've gone to local restaurants for a few days now for lunch. Smaller towns. Lots of outdoor space. You can walk across the parking lot or cross the street & not see another person. Then of course, masks are not required inside the restaurant. So, I see people walking together, that are obviously related, just got out of their car & come into restaurant with masks on. Then they remove the masks when inside the door.

So, what was the purpose of the mask while walking in the fresh air outside, but removing it when coming into enclosed building? If I had to bet, I'd guess less chance of virus existing in totally unrestricted outdoor space.

Just wondering what I'm missing.
