I don't understand why people will plant weeds with Alfalfa? Maybe 5# but 50? Seed Alfalfa clean & it will always out perform any seeded with weeds.

Up here new hay seeding is either going to compete with weeds or or a cover crop, I'd rather bale up oats rather than a crop of weeds
