When is the best time to cut oats and alfalfa? I seeded 1 1/2 bushels of oats and 20 lbs of alfalfa the oats just headed and the alfalfa is 6 to 8 inches tall. Just wondering if I should wait a few weeks and let the heads fill or cut it and chop and get the oats out of the way?
