Do you have the 2011 map? If memory serves, 11 was when the 12 drought started. Things were looking good, then it turned hot and dry during the summer. Fall time it was hard to get diggers in the ground.
Yes, we were terribly wet spring of 2011 and then the spigot shut off June 25 and we got virtually no rain for 60 days. Lots of wind and upper 90s-low 100s late that summer jump started the 2012 event for lots of people.
