NE Iowa | I’ve had the same problem as you and also for the same reasons. I also have arthritis thrown in the mix. Had the same results as you with PT. I spent at least a year going through the Pain Clinic regime and they finally told they could not help me. Back to the Neurologist and he said I may be a candidate for Botox treatments. It worked! I get shots in my neck every 3 months and it really helps. Not perfect but can easily live with it. If you look into this be sure and jump through all the hoops as far as referrals and so forth because it is pricey and I’m sure insurance companies would like to find a way to not pay for the procedure.
For what it’s worth I had heard about burning nerve ends. When I talked to the Neurologist the last time he said it was a darn good thing I didn’t go that route. I did not ask him why he made that statement so don’t know what the story would be on that.
