I think it is hopeless with the young. We were bullet proof when young and most of the young today are of the same mindset. At least the ones I know. Being in high school during the Vietnam ordeal, having a significant number of young never making it back home, and being in line for the draft lottery I was not thinking much about what I would be like at 66. At the time figured I would be lucky to make it to 30 if I didn't get drafted. Less than that if I did get drafted. Very uncertain times for a young almost man. Yet here I am today. Makes me wonder how the current young will be affected by the corona virus thing. Are they going to mature being germaphobes? I have to question all the fear mongering going on about it, particularly with the young. There have to be unwanted negative reactions to it. John |
