This has happened with my JD system. With JD you can use the rate controller even when the swath control (section valves) is turned off. So I just leave SC shut off when spraying the perimeter pass. This also helps since I spray with SF1 signal so the preset field boundary may have shifted and with SC on it will sometimes kick off my outside section of nozzles.
