I am 50/50 in believing. I had a neighbor witch my well in 2000. He found water about 50' from my old hand dug 15' deep well.
The new well was 35' bored 3'.
My point is this guy was a life long witcher who kept a diary of all his witches , failures and finds.
I believe his book should be in the county historical office. he has passed.
I think that journal is local history.
