West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12 | Myself, dad, grandpa, and several co-workers over the years could/can get dowsing wires to cross when searching for tile lines, but, never know exactly what we'll find when we dig.
Over the years we've found what appeared to be a buried cow, buried rocks, even a buried Model T when digging the "spot" where the wires cross. But in all situations, the tile was not where the wires said it was. Our success rate is less than 50/50 of finding what we are actually looking for.
When I know the spot is exactly where a electrical line is buried in the yard, it's fun to "amaze" people with my "gift" of finding the underground line. The people are equally amazed when I hand them the wires and the majority of them find out they have the "gift" too.
