Having always been self employed I guess I don’t understand this mentality.
I have been on the paying end.
There is going to be a day of reckoning when someone is going to pay this back.
Unemployment benefits have been paid in by the workers but this give away ain’t right.
I’m with ya. I’ve always been self employed also, except for one summer after high school.
I think our representatives felt they needed to pump some money into the economy to keep it from collapsing (must be pretty fragile). This is a very good way to get money into the economy. Any other group of people might not spend it all on consumable goods. Farmers might run up rent, the landlords might save it. Big business might buy back stocks. The unemployed will spend, spend, spend. |
