SESD | Ok so this may not be the exact same for every state but my wife just got laid off. Her bosses met with their lawyer and accountant to make sure they did what was best for business and the employees, but I will still be passing it along second hand. So she will be making around 350 from the state unemployment and an addition 600 from the CARES act, thr state normally requires two job applications per week to collect but that has been waved in favor of a check in program. It sounds like every week a rep will call and check on her, Im not really sure what that entails. Once she is offered her job back benefits will no longer be available, I think at that point they would consider her to have quit and no longer laid off. | |
