Several grand of sales lost.
People aren’t coming to the store at the farm. We offered delivery but no takers.
Been running national ads on fb to sell kernels to ship and last night came up with a special in 3 bags of popped shipped.
People will drive for sweet corn, pumpkins and flowers on the produce side. The other stuff isn’t as worthwhile for the effort you gotta put into it to feed it to the cows when people don’t buy it. | |
