I didn't necessarily want to spend the money right now, but I ordered an All-american canner today. The agent said they're made in Wisconsin (I think), but then she also said she'd have to check the stock: "we've been selling quite a few."
Tilling the garden is the start. People need to be prepared for the harvest with the tools and jars to preserve what they grow.
