.....I grew up with a fear of hitch hikers living 1600 feet from the highway.. Seems I saw a few too many that were not really what I thought of as good people. Wanderers, looser,freeloaders, (bums).. guys that slept behind the nearby shop of someone that didnt know they were there...and looked like they were worshiping the sun on the road the next morning and stank like booze.. That kind of thing...it pretty hard to sort the good from the well meaning folks that are just adventurous. |
