Same here. The small towns have fiber from the privates and coops. The larger town does not. I am 400 yards from Comcast where they serve the lake people. They wanted 30k to go 400 yards for cable. Neighboring town came by and was plowing fiber. I asked if I could get hooked up. I had to have century link sign off and boom, we have fiber. Cost? $0. I pay 65/month for 100meg and we can go gigabit here for 300.

As far as school is shut down, the teachers are really loading our kids down and my wife has been struggling keeping up. It’s annoying because I talked to the kids and they said the amount of work is more rigorous than if they were actually in school. Sort of surprised me.

The other thing that bothers me, and I know it’s an unpopular opinion, but what are these teachers doing all day? They are still collecting a full paycheck so....
