Having a ready source of P for the seedlings during cool spring weather is one of the big reasons for using pop-up fertilizer in the row. It does not sound like that is a problem you have and I suspect it is not very cold in your area either. Using in furrow/pop-up fertilizer on your planter might not be gaining you anything but a hassle when planting.
