Fremont, NE | I have to disagree, 10-34-junk should never be placed in furrow at all. Those high salt load products inhibit your soil biology from doing their job. Feed the plant early but then when those fertilizers are used up you then have a plant to has to make a late & new biological relationship with its friends underground and never truly catch up.
Microbes in the soil are who truly make any nutrient available to plant roots in exchange for sugars from the root exudates. Quit trying to work against Mother Nature and instead work with her. The end result is a more healthy plant season long. | |
