Clark, SD | I don't thing that 235 is going to be able to pull a 16 row, even with a chip. I think youre going to need at least 350, but more then likely in that 400-450 range. 20hp per row is on the low end for striptill machines so that puts you right at 320hp needed, but that number is also not factoring in a fertilizer cart.
That being said I pull a 12 row striptill machine and 6 ton montag with an 8310rt and on any kind of hill thats about all it wants. Have been thinking of tuning it. So yea I don't think theres any way a 235 id going to pull a 16 row. | |
