I wonder how small of pothole will knock stuff out of calibration? :) *wham* ding ding ding! collision detected, lane tracking sensor misaligned, vector map and live tracking mismatch, error! Error! ERROR! Hard stop engage!!!!

All that said, a good driver is better than this system. But this system is better than a bad driver. Guess which one we have more of...

Humans suffer from complacency. We need to realize that we are not that special, and have room for improvement. Till we accept that fact, we are doomed for replacement by machines. Unless we tackle the problem of greed, if we do that we dont have to go for every last efficiency driven dollar, but that is for another argument...
