Denmark | At times during nights and especially in the winter more electricity than can be used is being produced in DK. The problem is the windmills where the capacity is still rising.
To solve this problem the owners of windmills will be charged by the el-company for excessive energy (more than the market is using) starting 1 October this year. The amount charged will be about triple the price per KwH as they are normally paid. Therefore owners are looking for equipment that automatically will shut down the windmill when production is not needed as they are weary to accept a huge penalty for delivering free "green" wind energy!
The problem is getting bigger and by 2013 the production from windmills will be 36% higher than today.
To help solve above problem the major Danish energy company plans ways to encourage people to buy electric powered cars. One such encouragement could be slightly discounted night-charge prices.
Lack of energy is a problem - too much of it can also be!
