Pretty sure it’s illegal in Indiana to pull 2 gears one behind the other “plumbed” together. It’s why every fertilizer company in the state went to twin thousand’s on one gear you see now.

Still see some in Illinois but no clue why any dealer would want the headache and the added cost of maintaining 4 more tires, extra hose, plumbing and breakaways. Not worth it when you can have this


First point- There is no reason the two tanks cant be coupled together once they are in the field, makes sense to not pull them down the road hooked up although another breakaway would be an option.

Second point- They don't give double running gears away having a starting price of $6000.00 on up and they aren't cheap to plumb either.
