northern MN

We use double 1000s on a single trailer behind our amity airseeder. We like this setup because our trailer tracks narrow front and wide in the back so it does not track twice. We used a single 2000 gal tank (in a pinch) from the dealer that tracked narrow in the front with tandems in the back, too much compaction (on our soils) behind the tandem. It seems we can get by with one pass but not two. Some neighbors have tried twin 1500s but i dont see them being widely accepted.

To get anything done we needed to go to a double cooler for variable rating at the volume we wanted to apply, that was the unusual expenditure.
