| I am not up on trailer valuations but just my experience with insurance. They will offer you what they will pay in court less the legal fees. In other words if you sue them they figure you will get about 1/3 more than they are offering.
They should also pay for clean up, transporting equipment etc. those fees could easily top $7,000 if provided by a professional towing out fit.
In my opinion you do not want your old one back unless you think it is worth what it costs for parts. Usually if you can give the trailer away and they come and get it that is about what it is worth.
If you are collecting on some one elses insurance you should be able to collect all the rental fees except for the mileage charge. I guess that is only fair as you are not wearing your own equipment out.
