What I would do if I were you.

Keep the trailer, take the check they are offering. Put the trailer on Auctiontime with about a 4 week soak. Trailer will bring 10-14k IMO. You will be whole then easy enough.

One of my guys tipped a trailer over last fall. 08 Wilson 43ft. I got short of 9k out of it on Auctiontime and it was pretty trashed.

I got what I thought was a fair, but not great offer from insurance company. I kept the truck and trailer. Sold the truck locally for about $1500 over what it took to keep it and selling the trailer put another 5K in my pocket.

It's just a trailer, either decide to hire a lawyer and make a point, or take the check and move on. It is just a trailer, and regardless of what you think, it isn't special. Not trying to be mean, but every insurance company on every item they have to pay out on hears about how nice it was, how hard it is to find, how special the options are, ect ect ect.

Take the check, sell the trailer, and you will have 40k in your pocket. You will be fine.
