SW “Ohia”
clevepreach,

I’m one of those “dreaded millennials” and yes I can drive a manual. Column or floor, synchronized or not.

Most of my friends can as well, mainly because they are car hobbyists. Manual transmissions still rule the roost for the auto enthusiast type.

The majority of those that don’t have cars for fun, and don’t drive a truck for a living, all drive autos and have never even been in a manual vehicle. You can’t get a manual in many cars today anyway unless it is sporty.

I only know a couple other people my age who farm and they all have manual transmission pickups, so obviously they can.

To be fair, I know several people in their 40s and 50s who can’t drive a manual vehicle.
