Middlesex County, Ontario | Here's some pics of an early proof of concept that I made. Using a bluetooth link seemed easier than running wires from the boom to the cab, so I went wireless The boom end circuit was glued into a container, powered by a battery, and ziptied to the boom. I ran up/down/hold manually by looking at the screen inside the cab. Was mainly trying to determine if anything worked at all.
I keep thinking I'll get to making this properly but I never make any time.
