We demoed a Hustler with a 72" and 31 hp. Had good power. Scalped bad frequently. I think that is a trait of the 4 wheel zero turns more so than the grasshopper type.
You need to mow often with that rear discharge as when the grass gets taller it leaves a windrow you could practically bale. Are all rear discharge that way?
