S Illinois | The other area in IL looking like a complete 180 from last year is that area between Rt.50 and Rt.16. That flat white ground hates weather like this so guessing no 220+bu field averages coming this year from that area this year. Definitely one for the record books. Thought we may have a chance at a 2009 year in IL, but a lot of the corn that year got planted in actually pretty good conditions that year staring around the 18th through the June 1. Doesn't look quite like the case this year. | |
