Subject: RE: Digital TV and antenna

Cable got really high priced here (west Central IA). A year ago the TV store in Atlantic,Ia put up an antenna on my roof. Its the good old channel master antenna, like has been around for 60 years. I do have an amplifier in the house, but we get almost 30 channels with more added all the time. The thing that I don't understand is our pictures (especially in our bedroom) are much clearer with the antenna than they were with digital cable? We have Netflix and Amazon Prime also, so there is never a shortage of programs to watch (if I only had time!) I have had lightning take out the amplifier which let an open in the circuit which meant no antenna channels could be viewed.
