It funny how on one hand we have those arguing that the government did this to continue having farmers plant to ensure an adequate supply. Then there are those who say this is a big old nothing. Can't be both. But yes it does change the planting dynamics. If your decision is to take PP corn on a 1000 acres or plant beans on those acres, well an extra 50k in the bean column will definitely change the economics of that decision, so i would argue it does make a difference. | |
