Subject: RE: ?'s of Why the Ag community would not want the MFP

The government has always wanted low commodity prices so the average citizen can have cheap food. Every government program including crop ins. has been there for a big supply and cheap food. Now for the $payment if we do get $70 / acre, that would really help the small farmers vs. the large farmers. $125,000 payment limit at $70 /acre is only 1,785 acres till individuals get maxed out. All of the posters that hate BTO's should love this.

As I have said in other posts, I am not for this MFP but I am not surprised at the way they are handling this, it is just the way government thinks.
