I hate almost hate to respond to this thread because people will get up in arms over vaccinations protocol. First I would really talk to a few vets first. First read the labels of what you are wanting to use and see it if fits your program.

I will tell you I vaccinate calves 1 week to 60 days old with Bovi-shield Gold One Shot, and a Choice 8 (8 way). We only get one chance to vaccinate calves on desert. So we do it, it builds memory in their system. And when we wean in fall they more vaccines. It works for us, however if you read on them, the ideal time would be 60-90 days old if I recall to vaccinate. We cant do that, so we do the next best thing for us.

Also everyone lives in different places, and challenges to overcome. Some guys deal with stuff I never see in cattle. We dont have a worm problem like others have.

This is my short version of my answer to this thread. I'm sure I will get flamed.
