NW Tennessee | Several years ago, before guidance, I planted with an 8 row planter and shelled corn with a 6 row head for 2-3 years before I could trade planters. Had a few issues in curves on end rows, but not that big a deal. The last couple of years, with guidance on planter tractor, I’ve shelled my SIL’s corn with and 8 row head and corn planted with 12 row planter. Again, no problems other than a few curvy end rows. | |
